This isn't as good as my other peices, but it has qualities that i find beautiful in an odd, subtle way. Particularly the black spray paint rising in the lower left hand corner into the pink and yellow background.
I have a tip for spray painters who want some cool effects: if it's raining outside, spray a portion of your canvas (should be a gessoed canvas) and allow it to sit in the rain for ten-fifteen seconds. Then take it in and let it dry. It'll have these little resistance spots that look very cool. |
